Honor, Huawei-owned smartphone brand brought its affordable phones in the Indian market a few days ago. However, the Honor 10 Lite and 20i have started receiving the Android Pie-based EMUI 9.1 update in China.
The update comes with Graphics processing unit (GPU) improvements and adds some new features to smartphones. EMUI 9.1 update brings improvements to the device's voice assistant tool.
You may have noticed that the existing version of the software cannot set the video ringtone to a specific number stored in the phone address book. Since the update has rolled out, users can now set the video ringtone to a specific contact.
The update focuses primarily on GPU Turbo 3.0 that is said to boost smartphone performance in Honor devices. At the moment, updates are available in China and it could be rolled out in countries where the handsets are made available.
