LG W10, W30, W30 Pro arrives in India, read highlights, specs & price

LG w-series smartphones

Earlier this month, we reported about the LG W series devices launched by Korean smartphone maker LG. However, it's devices remained a mystery to us, as new series was announced in a nutshell that led our editors to cover the story without mentioning the LG W10, W30, and W30 Pro.

South Korean smartphone manufacturer has officially announced the launch of the W-series phones in the Indian market. If the reports are to be believed, the W-series phones will start entering the Indian market on July 3 via Amazon India.

The handsets will be available for purchase in three variants W10, W30 accompanied by the W30's pro model W30 Pro. The price has been set Rs. 8,999 for the standard model (likely W10) and another variant will be available for purchase starting Rs. 9,999.

The LG W10 and LG W30 smartphones use the Android 9.0 Pie operating system and are powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset clocked at 2GHz CPU speed. However, the pro model uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 mobile platform, making it the better one compared to W10 and W30.

LG W10 and the LG W30 comes with 3GB/32GB configuration while the pro one sports 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. 12nm Fin Field-effect transistor (FinFET) makes the device exceptional compared to other LG handsets that were previously launched in the country.

The LG W10 features 13MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup and an 8MP camera on the front, while LG W30 comes with 13MP + 12MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and 16MP selfie camera. The pro variant includes the same camera setup as the W30, but it uses a 5MP depth sensor instead of 2MP in the W30.

The LG W series is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery and fast charging technology, compatible (maybe) with Vivo's Super FlashCharge 120W.

The devices will be available exclusively via Amazon India. We believe the company could launch only W10 and W30 smartphones in the country starting July 3, but W30 Pro could make the Indian fans to wait a little longer.
