Fredrik Idestam and Leo Mechelin-founded brand and HMD-owned company Nokia have made a major reshuffle in the Nokia 8.1 smartphone price in the country. The standard variant with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage was previously available for Rs. 28,831 in India.

Since the company has dropped the price for the said device by 9,632, the phone is now available for as low as Rs. 19,199. Another variant that comes with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage was priced at Rs 32,999, now the model can be purchased via Amazon India for Rs. 23,499. The price cut applies to offline channels as well as online stores.

It appears that Nokia is planning to introduce new phones in the country. Regardless of the reason, the price cut will definitely relax the users wishing to buy 8.1 under the lowest budget.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core powered phone includes 3500mAh lithium-ion battery power with fast charging capabilities. The handset features 12MP + 13MP dual rear camera setup and 20MP selfie camera with FHD+ capacitive touchscreen features. 4GB/64GB variant includes 6.18-inch screen size with a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels.

The handset comes with dual SIM card slots of nano-type using the VoLTE and GSM technology. When it comes to features, we get a fingerprint sensor with the rear position. Other sensors that Nokia has added to this phone, they are light, proximity, accelerometer, compass and gyroscope respectively.
