Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro

The launch date of the Redmi K20 and K20 pro is getting nearer in the country, and we will have to wait until mid-July to briefly cover the phone specs. Xiaomi has already announced the Chinese variant in its motherland, which has revealed a wide range of specs of Mi-branded smartphone K20.

As the handset is getting more anticipated, the Xiaomi India MD and Global Vice President, Mr. Manu Kumar Jain took to his twitter where he informed about K20's nutshell announcement scheduled for tomorrow.

As suggested by his tweet, the company will be going to reveal 'something OUT OF THIS WORLD' and 'BIG announcement' about K20 and K20 pro in the country. Xiaomi has successfully completed 5 years in India, therefore we believe, the company's new phone K20 and K20 Pro could come with more powerful features to marks its incredible moments spent in the Indian market.

Both models use Xiaomi's official firmware MIUI to run on the Android operating system. The pro model has 6.39-inches display measuring aspect ratio 19.5:9. It comes with 6 GB/64GB configurations and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The handset equips 4000 mAh battery power capacity with quick charging technology.

But when it comes to the camera, both models feature 48MP + 13MP + 8MP triple cameras and a 20MP selfie pop up camera. These phones are going to be the fastest ones in the world, claims MD in a video shared on His tweet handle.

The K20 has the same 400mAh battery power, 6.39" display size, AMOLED display type and capacitive touchscreen and multi-touch function, as shown in the pro one. However, the Redmi K20 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 mobile platform.

Another difference between the two is that the pro model comes with Adreno 640 graphics, while the predecessor one has Adreno 618 series of GPU. The company has added fingerprint scanners with on-screen positions to the K20 as well as K20 Pro.
