Earlier this month, the former social media director of TNW Matt Navarra revealed that Twitter is testing a new feature that allows users to add lists to their home tabs. The social networking platform has brought a fully customizable timeline to twitter web as well as to its official Apps.

Twitter's new design adds new features to its platform, allowing users to browse a sequence of tweets by swiping to lists from their home using Twitter App. However, it has not been confirmed whether new features have been introduced across all Apps.

Compared to the previous web interface, the microblogging platform has transformed the old design by placing the navigation menu on the left side on the Twitter web, making it easy to navigate settings. Without affecting the UI, users can see notifications, messages, bookmarks, and lists while browsing a series of tweets or just browsing a specific tweet handle.

Users can switch between the new design and the legacy twitter by clicking the "More" and then "Switch to the legacy twitter" options.

Twitter has made lots of changes to its platform since the launch. In April 2019, it changed the number of accounts people can follow each day from 1,000 to 400. This restriction allows Twitter to reduce spam on its platform.
