Chinese tech giant and electronics leader Xiaomi has succeeded in selling 2 million units of Redmi Note 7 handset in India since the launch. But today, the company has made another record in just 8 days by selling its Mi-branded fitness tracker Mi Band 4.

The Smart wearable devices have not yet entered the Indian market, but its predecessors Mi Band 3 is already available in the country, which has gained massive popularity due to its incredible features and affordable price. The company offers this device for INR1,999.00 via Amazon and Mi online store. However, the band 4 is available for purchase in China at CNY 169 that is equivalent to USD 24.5 or INR 1,700, according to the current exchange rates.

Xiaomi introduced the Mi Band 4 earlier this month with 0.95-inch color AMOLED display and On-cell capacitive touchscreen features. To wake up and go back, it uses a single touch button with a wristband measuring width 18mm.

Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has been launched as an upgraded version of the Mi band 3, and in Europe, the company is going to introduce it as the Mi Smart Band 4 officially starting June 26th, but the bad news is that the European version lacks XiaoAI-based NFC and voice features. This has been done in an effort to replace the existing one with Google Assistant, XDA Developers reports.

Back to specifications - Mi band 4 sports Rotor motor type, and Mi-Fit app that requires Android 4.4, iOS 9.0 or above to get started with a smartphone. The device features 6 workout modes, customizable notifications and a wide range of sensors such as Alarm, proximity sensor, DND, OTA updates, weather forecast and more.

Mi band 4 comes with a Lithium polymer battery using 135mAh power capacity. In addition to this, it comes with 512KB RAM and 16MB ROM configuration. Band 4 weights at 22.1g, and measures 5 ATM water resistance rate that is somewhat ok for swimming, hand washing, etc.
