Taiwanese semiconductor company MediaTek today unveiled HyperEngine game technology-based chipsets Helio G90 and G90T, exclusively designed to boost the gaming mechanism on MediaTek G90-powered smartphones, company confirmed at an event in New Delhi.
The new chipset also enhances network connectivity, image quality, and screen touch sensitivity when playing games. To make smartphones even more gaming-centric, the MediaTek Helio G90 series Helio G90 and G90T are paired with HyperEngine game technology that improves the overall gaming experience and can be clocked up to 2.05GHz.
According to MediaTek’s blog post published today, the Helio G90 SoCs uses a combination of Arm Cortex-A76 and six Cortex-A55s. Paired with the Arm Mali-G76 carrying version number 3EEMC4, delivers speeds up to 800MHz, even when it comes to heavy mobile games. In addition to this, the combination of distinct processors CPU, GPU, and APU delivers up to 11TMACs performance.
The SoCs in the talk comes with 10GB of LPDDR4x (Low Power DDR4X) and up to 2133MHz memory. More importantly, receiving or making a phone call during a game-play moment will not disconnect the device from the network.
