49 days ago, Chinese smartphone maker Realme announced its upcoming phone Realme X on 15 May in China, but since then, the company did not reveal its launch in India. Because the brand is very new in the smartphone industry, it takes a little longer launching new phones outside China.

In order to empower the India smartphone market, the Realme confirmed that the X-series handset Realme X is going to be launched on 15th of this month. Madhav Seth, Realme's CEO, said the device will be available soon along with Spider-Man Far From Home Special Edition in the country.

Specifications — the handset includes dual primary cameras consisting of 48MP (wide), 5MP depth sensor and a motorized pop-up of 16-megapixel. It features a 6.53-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass v5, a scratch-resistant material that is widely used by other brands as well.

The phone runs on the Android pie operating system and comes with 4GB/64GB storage option. The chipset used in Realme X is Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 that allows the phone to run at 2.2 GHz. Realme X sports a non-removable lithium-ion battery with a power capacity of 3,765mAh and comes with quick charging abilities.

Since the handset is about to come in the Indian market, therefore, stating the price of Chinese variant could be a noteworthy idea. According to the company, the Realme X will retail at CNY 1,500 (roughly Rs. 15,000) in China, but it is said that the Indian version will start retailing at Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 15,500.
